31 Movies of Halloween: Day 11

Day 11 - The Little Shop of Horrors

Oh, Roger Corman, how I love/loathe thee. For your films are so terrible, and yet, that makes them just so damn good. Clearly, I'm not talking about he musical, nor the early '90's animated show. No, no, I'm talking about the original, black & white horror/comedy. It's filled with bad jokes and bad acting, making it just that much more enjoyable. Also, a young Jack Nicholson has a small part in it (which the DVD publishing companies played up in hopes of boosting sales).
Wait 'til they get a load of me.
It's not scary, nor particularly funny, but there's something excellent about the film.

Best Part:
The film is narrated by a cop, who (along with his partner) appears later in the movie. It gives the film a bit of a different feel, which is just really cool. Kind of a shame that this wasn't carried over into the musical/film based on the musical, but, at the same time, completely understandable.
