The Blob is a classic. Hands down. Aside from low production value, I can't make too much fun of this movie. Except that the Blob looked like jelly. Delicious, delicious jelly. My biggest fear would be making a peanut butter sandwich, going for the jelly, and...Oh my God Blobgothim!
Anyway, in case you don't already know (and you should), The Blob is about an alien entity that starts to consume a small town. To a lesser extent, it's also about rebellious youth. Those damn teenagers. But the Blob keeps expanding and ruining the town's shit until it corners the main characters (as if it were really after them specifically) in the basement of a burning dinner. They figure out that cold immobilizes the Blob, so they use fire extinguishers and then ship it to the Arctic. Also, it stars a young Steve McQueen.

The Blob eats a movie theater, and as he consumes the projector, you see his blobiness oozing down the screen. It's awesome.
